Sorry.

I apologise for my lack of activity recently. I can assure you I will be back with something creative and interesting for you to feast your eyes upon shortly.

7 Days

Just a quick preview of a project that I am currently undergoing. I am in the process of collating all the relevant information from the diary to create a visual record of my day to day existence.

CPH

I recently visited Copenhagen in Denmark. Whilst there I was taken aback by the way that CPH works in comparison with English cities. Cyclists take precedence over everybody else. Here are a few images that depict my time there well.

I: Dash Snow (Self-portrait): I encountered this self-portrait in the Statens Museum for Kunst (the Danish National Gallery), it seemed to capture very well the manic lifestyle led by Snow which I have read so much about since his death.

II: Invigilator inside Statens Museum for Kunst

III: Spiral Meander (deep violet and brown), 2009 by Vivian Berg

IV: Untitled (2009) by Sören Siebel
This installation was a simple dynamic spectacle to behold, the low hum of the fans and their gusts battling against each other and turning the pages in a quirky uncontrollable manner.

V & VI: These are click tickets, a visually interesting analogue limited period tickets used to get around on the underground system. The stamped digits and disposable existence of them make them even more interesting in the ever-more digitising world that we live in.

Permutations Re-work

I have recently gone back through some of my works and given them a shuffle about it some different formats. Here is my rejig of a four colour record of permutations involving CMYK as before. I am hoping to sharpen things up a little and become a little more clinical in the final visual result of some of the works. This should hopefully open up the door to some new possibility within which I can take them.
